Meet your doula!
Hi! My name is Francesca and I am a DONA International trained birth doula. Birth work found me during a time where I was surrounded by loved ones who were having disproportionately negative birth experiences and traumatic outcomes. I became a doula because I believe that every single parent should be able to look back at their pregnancy and birth and be able to remember it in a beautiful way, regardless of the outcome. This can be made possible with an exceptional support team, including your doula.
Prior to becoming a doula, I studied Human Biology at the University at Albany. I initially planned to pursue nursing while working as a PCA, but pivoted to becoming a lab associate. I am a scientist by nature, but I quickly learned that my heart lies in supporting my community hands on through providing education, judgement free support, and advocacy to those who need it most. On my journey as a birth worker, my hope is to one day become a midwife to further serve the underrepresented communities I come from.

Fun facts!
I absolutely love nature. I love houseplants, gardening, hiking, anything that allows me to be immersed in Earth’s beauty.
I am 100% team cats. Love dogs too, but cats just get me.
My favorite color is green (can you tell?).
